About the Job
Games Workshop is looking for a creative and detail-focused Tutorial Video Painter to join our Customer Engagement team in Nottingham. If you have a deep love of the Warhammer hobby, a thorough understanding of the Citadel Colour painting system and the ability to paint with precision and inspire beginner to advanced level painters, then this could be the perfect role for you!
Collaborating closely with the Paint Content Manager, Videographers and wider Customer Engagement team, you’ll expertly paint Warhammer miniatures on camera to create educational videos that demonstrate clear, repeatable techniques for our fans around the world to enjoy. You’ll methodically prepare miniatures, paints, brushes and tools ahead of filming, so that each tutorial runs smoothly, allowing us to maintain painting standards and showcase our iconic IP.
As our Tutorial Video Painter, you’ll understand the purpose, tone and technical focus of each tutorial, ensuring that all content is delivered on time and inline with the brief. Your resourceful and proactive approach will be key, as you’ll seek feedback on projects, find ways to improve and drive solutions that raise the bar on what makes world class painting content.
The ideal person will have professional miniature painting experience and have worked in a studio or video production environment. Your meticulous attention to detail and precise brushstrokes will bring the Citadel Colour techniques to life in easy to follow steps and help us create content that shows painting is for everyone!
If you have a love for the Warhammer universe and the skill to apply your understanding of what makes a fantastically painted miniature, then we want you on our team!
