In this crucial role, you will support Games Workshop to deliver a significant global technology transformation programme to enhance our business systems capability by facilitating data migration activities.
We are looking for someone passionate about driving Data Migration activities collaborating with stakeholders to understand business data requirements, and always ensuring data integrity to support seamless migrations to new systems.
As a BA aligned to Data Migration you will be a key member of the team and build relationships through effective communication and people skills to understand Data Structures, relationships and migration requirements.
You will need the ability to translate complex data migration requirements taking ownership and responsibility for turning these into actionable strategies ensuring accuracy and completeness through the migration cycle. With change focussed mindset and a methodical approach you will support the business to understand the impact of data migration conducting data quality assessment and defining data cleansing activities whilst providing guidance to ensure the successful transition.
You will be comfortable communicating effectively with staff at all levels of the business, being an excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude, being keen to research and recommend solutions, and having both the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to consistency working with teams to define data governance standards and cleansing data ensuring that all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy while remaining inquisitive to support the optimisation of data processes.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you will have the ability to source and target systems to identify data discrepancies and dependencies as well as ensuring compliance with documentation of data migration requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving successful data migrations in complex organisations having experience working on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong knowledge of data structures, databases and ETL process combined with strong analytical thinking to analyse data sets and identify inconsistencies and quality issues.
