Are you passionate to source and manage a supplier base to deliver the right quality, cost and service from our robust long term global supply chain?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join the global buying team!
You will be responsible for building & maintaining strong supplier relationships & effective sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers to reduce risk and improve supply options. Owning product critical paths and ensuring they are adhered to, working cross functionally with departments across Games Workshop to make this happen.
Ensuring buying prices/cost of goods are negotiated and managed to deliver margin targets & suggesting methods & implementing solutions which reduce costs. You will leverage your leadership experience to positively influence within the department and, you will handle ad hoc projects within the team as directed.
The ideal candidate will have proven buying experience, ideally from a manufacturing and/or a global retail environment along with a proven track record of building long term supplier partnerships through supplier performance management.
