Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer supporting the IT Web Technology team for 6 months.

As a Quality Engineer with a customer-focused lens, their needs will always be your priority as you take an inquisitive, risk-based approach to testing, ensuring you exchange ideas and experiences to boost the quality and efficiency of our e-commerce and web-based services.
Your skills will enable you to perform software testing, ensuring adherence to testing principles, and having an active involvement in software delivery at all stages, from development through to implementation and maintenance.
Always setting a positive example, you will oversee the creation and execution of test cases, both manual and automated, and support the team to ensure the development of successful, reliable tests. In addition, you will review internal processes to ensure appropriate levels of automated test coverage are achieved and maintained through the Software Development Life Cycle.
Being knowledgeable in your field, you will have experience of manual and automated testing, and multiple levels of testing, including System, Integration and Regression whilst working as part of an AGILE delivery team. You will also be familiar with security and accessibility testing
We are looking for someone who enjoys being involved in software delivery from end to end and takes real pride in what they do. You will be organised, communicate clearly, and confident in keeping people in the loop on progress, availability, and any testing updates. Working closely with others comes naturally to you, whether that’s within the team or across the wider business, and you will understand the value of positive, productive working relationships. You will need to be adaptable, resourceful, and happy to adjust your approach when things change, always finding practical ways to solve problems and keep work moving forward on schedule.
Attention to detail matters is key as you will need to be objective and clear when reporting progress. You’ll also be mindful of costs, provide operational support when needed, and always aim to do what’s right for the business and the customers.

Other Essential Information
Location: This role will be granted on a hybrid working basis with the requirement to be in the office twice a week.
