About the Role
Do you want to take ownership of stores that are unstaffed or going through managerial transitions, ensuring they remain open, stable, and delivering a positive customer experience at all times?
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting retail stores across Japan during critical periods such as store openings and manager transitions. You will assess each store’s situation, identify operational needs, and implement practical solutions to maintain performance and continuity. This includes arranging and managing relief staff where needed, ensuring no unplanned closures occur, and keeping store operations running smoothly.
You will also prepare stores for new managers, making sure they meet agreed standards in merchandising, presentation, and overall operational readiness. Alongside this, you will monitor store performance through reports and regular communication, responding to operational or IT-related issues and coordinating with internal teams to resolve them effectively.
Managing operational costs, such as relief staffing and overtime, will also be part of your responsibilities, along with keeping the Retail Territory Manager informed and aligned on priorities and actions.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations while balancing multiple priorities across different locations.
