About the Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Art Manager to lead and manage an established illustration team to ensure that all the art in our amazing Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar products are produced to a high quality, efficiently and on time.
Highly organised and passionate about developing a high performing team, you will be responsible for setting the direction for your team as you manage and optimise their activities to ensure all quality standards are met. We’ll look to you to set clear goals and provide feedback and art direction to Illustrators as appropriate through individual and peer review feedback sessions.
Thriving through collaborating with others, you will work closely with Product Developers and Schedulers to build schedules to ensure projects can be delivered on time. We’ll see you regularly working with Marketing, Licensing and other internal teams to confidently make decisions and ensure all works are delivered to the agreed schedule.
To be suitable for this role you should have a strong background in Illustration and an intrinsic understanding of Warhammer art in all its guises through Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar; the successful applicant will be a guardian of illustration quality across our products. A confident communicator, you will articulately communicate ideas and decisions in a way that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
