Are you looking for a role where you can use your expert skills in IT Infrastructure to manage the Infrastructure for Games Workshop?

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our global IT team. Reporting to the Global Infrastructure Team Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting, managing, monitoring and improving the infrastructure services, identifying risks and implementing measures appropriately.

Working closely with the other IT Team Leads, you will ensure that the infrastructure team is aligned on working to GW priorities, ensuring the efficient delivery of the IT function, to an equal excellent standard across IT.

Key responsibilities will include:
Support and manage security and monitoring tools across the global Games Workshop estate. Identify information security deficiencies or risks to appropriate parties as soon as possible. Implement measures appropriately.
Configure, maintain and support all WAN Technologies including VPN, Routers and firewalls, ensuring agreed security and SLA’s are met
Configure, maintain and support all Server and Server Technologies including VMware, Windows, Cloud Servers, all GW Application servers, including Dev, Test and Production, ensuring agreed security and SLA’s are met
Configure, maintain and support all Networking Technologies including switches, access points ensuring agreed security and SLA’s are met
Documenting standard operating procedures for new processes and technologies Configuring and deploying system accounts and hardware
Working as part of a team to complete projects and implement changes on time

Other Essential Information

You will need to be both objective and analytical, seeing all problems in context whilst having the ability to research and communicate available solutions clearly. You will need to have had previous experience using, maintaining, and implementing:
VMware Virtualization
WSUS & MDT servers
Microsoft AD and Desktop technologies
Microsoft Dynamics 365
HP Aruba LAN
Cisco LAN, WAN and Telephony technologies
A desire to research and learn new technologies and solutions
At least 3-5 year’s experience in an enterprise environment, and a diverse IT skill set to join our existing team in Memphis, TN.

You will need to operate professionally and consistently within a busy team environment while exhibiting:
Critical thinking skills
Excellent and diverse communication skills
Outstanding customer service even while under pressure
A desire to research and learn new technologies and solutions

This is a demanding role and we need someone who lives and breathes IT infrastructure. Your strong risk management skills and experience in providing service improvements alongside your in-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering and operations of varying platforms will enable you to be successful in this role.
