About the Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineering Cell Manager to join our busy team. In this position you’ll ensure that all Games Workshop facilities are maintained and improved to the highest standard every time.
Credible and with a passion for excellence, you’ll know how to bring the best out of your team as we’ll see you leading engineers and tradespeople to deliver facilities and infrastructure support to our Lenton and East Midlands Gateway site. Together with your team, you’ll plan and execute planned preventive maintenance programs, respond to breakdowns, repairs & work requests, and be heavily involved in large-scale projects to improve all aspects of the Games Workshop site.
Highly organised and collaborative, you’ll understand that no two days are ever the same in this fast-paced role. With excellent organisation skills and a continuous improvement mindset we’ll look to you to plan daily activities for your shift, ensuring that all work is scheduled and completed to high standards. You’ll maintain an accurate and true record of assets, including any required planned preventive maintenance and inventory, to ensure that all site facilities are available when required.
You’ll understand that people are our biggest asset as we’ll see you providing your teams with individual training and development plans to ensure that they have the required knowledge, skills, and resources to thrive and succeed.
Adaptable and excited by opportunities to improve efficiencies, we’ll look to you to proactively identify and resolve issues through driving operational improvement. Day to day, you’ll champion a safe culture working closely with the Health and Safety team to ensure incidents are resolved quickly and that all engineering activities are safe and compliant.
To be successful in this role you’ll have strong experience of guiding a team within a busy, Facilities or Engineering environment. Relevant qualifications and accreditation in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering are essential coupled with experience of performing and delivering PPM programmes in a facilities or operational environment.
